Years as a nonprofit
5

Founded in 2019, all volunteer

We fulfilled 574 holiday wishes during the Christmas season — nearly double the previous year — granting over 900 wishes across the full year and distributing nearly $38,000 worth of brand-new merchandise and gift cards.

What changed in 2024

  • We moved into “57”

A spacious, sunlit commercial space with dedicated offices, storage and an upgraded Little Free Store. Thank you to the Delaware Air Force Base Vehicle Management Team for moving us in.

  • Suitcases for foster teens

We partnered with the Delaware State Police to deliver suitcases filled with personal care items — so no teen has to move with a garbage bag.

  • Clothing, year round

We worked with Hope on Deck to provide back-to-school and holiday clothing for kids across the state.

  • Building our capacity

We attended the CenDel Foundation / DANA Grant Writing Boot Camp and the DANA Impact Conference, and were selected for the DANA Accelerator Program — a three-year initiative supporting nonprofits.

Looking forward

We’re continuing our mission of bringing hope and joy to foster children. Your unwavering support fuels our efforts, and we cannot thank you enough for being an essential part of our journey.

Our Little Free Store is open, actively fulfilling Winter Wishes to keep foster kids warm and dry during the chilly months while meeting their everyday needs throughout the year.

We’re eager to take on new fundraising events and expand our community involvement. Together, we can make an even greater impact.

Make sure you don’t miss the next one.

Keep an eye out for #DoMore24 Delaware — our biggest fundraiser of the year. We need your help to earn those bonus dollars.
